Rawana approaches Sita in the garb of mendicant, Bhawanrao Shriniwasrao Pant Pratinidhi, 1916

Rama is misled by the golden deer (demon maricha in disguise) deep in the forest. Sita gets panicky listening to the false alarm raised by the dying deer, and forces laxmana to go and help rama.
