inscription concerning the author - b: "general resurrection, painted by stradan. Born in bruges in 1527. Died in florense in 1604, he was very esteemed, and painted both in oil and in frescoes in several italian cities. Designs of a precious finish, all of them were engraved by philippe galle and the famous henry / goltzius, both friends, contemporaries of the painter. Philippe galle engraver of this cy, the engraved to make during the judgment / last engraved by goltzius he was born in 1537 and died in antwerp in 1612.
