portrait of the daguerreotypist marie-charles-isidore choiselat in her laboratory. The man is sitting, holding a book in his hands. He is surrounded by his chemist's equipment. We can see three filters, three heating containers (ceramic and metal), a mortar, a bottle with the inscription "alcohol" on the label of a bottle, and perhaps a distiller on the right. Historical commentary:
