Lavezzari andrei karlovich is a work by the artist alexander stankevich. Portrait of the russian architect and watercolor artist andrei karlovich lavezzari (1817-1881), a pensioner of the st. Petersburg imperial academy of arts. At the time of painting, stankevich was also a pensioner of the academy, and, like his subject, was subsequently awarded a travel scholarship to study in rome, where he remained until his death.
