A herme with a woman's bust supporting the entablature, rises from a dado in front of the wall. A sanke surround the lower parts. Niches are laterally placed. A sacrificing priestess is shown in the left one, a child holds the incense boy--two dancing puttis holding wreaths and garlands dragging from a candelabrum are shown in the right niche. Date: 1800–1830. Dimensions: 19.7 x 20.5 cm (7 3/4 x 8 1/16 in.); ; Mat: 40.6 x 55.9 cm (16 x 22 in.). Medium: brush and watercolor, graphite, pen and brown ink, watercolor on white laid paper.
