image in two superimposed panels. The first part, exterior, features a servant keeping watch in front of the closed door of a room. She forbids the spectator to open the door by pronouncing the words contained in the title. The second panel reveals the interior of the bedroom, where there is a young woman beginning to unlace her corset and glancing at the viewer, presumably waiting for a man, or simply undressing before going to bed. Embarrassed in her privacy, she asks her servant to close the door. Mode of acquisition: retrospective registration
