A session of house of lords with queen anne on throne; magnificent tapestries hanging around the room. Above, a session of the commons with the queen enthroned and george of denmark on a lower seat beside her, as if on a tapestry supported by, on the left, a figure of prosperity with a cornucopia and winged boys supporting a crowned shield of england, and, on the right, an armed female figure with a shield bearing a unicorn (perhaps representing scotland) and two winged boys holding the shield of the city of london, the scales of justice and caduceus of commerce. Below are two scenes (introduced in this state) showing, on the left, a procession with heralds, presumably proclaiming the queen, and, on the right, the queen presiding over a meeting of her cabinet, with george of denmark seated to her left. There are numbers and letters on some of the figures, but the key is lacking. C. 1702
