King oscar i wearing the great robe of the order of the seraphim, and wearing around his neck the order of the seraphim, the order of the north star, the order of the sword and the chains of the vasa order. Around his neck he also wears the cross of the order of carl xiii. The robes of the order of seraphim were last worn at oscar i's coronation in 1844. Painting by fredric westin.
