My dear mum! yesterday and today there was great joy again. Yesterday a kilo package arrived and today an airmail letter dated 10. 2. The package was wonderful again, the sausage and the fruit bread and the good cigarettes! the apples still taste very good too. Many thanks for everything. So now you have sent off another 6 packages, i am looking forward to them. Yes, karl is unlucky with his vacation. The "behm" [???] are [always lucky. ]. Date: 17 February 1943.
