Group of figures "copied from zhuzhuang" (plate 91 inventory 318). Paper, 120x56cm. Signed. Seal: red. The painting is of fairly good quality and raises a very slight doubt of authenticity. If it is an authentic work, it is from it that a series of "industrial fakes" derive. Elements of this painting are found in the two ge hong (inventory 105 and 232), in the four suma/boney symmetrical figure groups (inventory 228-229/349-350) and in several pages of the album of fakes in multiple copies. If this work itself is fake it represents qualitatively a sort of intermediate link between a lost original and the lower class of the aforementioned fakes. Date: between 1814 and 1849.
