Plate 7: a pillory scene in the countryside, with one man seated, his legs in stocks, another man behind him, possibly also pilloried, visited by a beadle in official attire holding his staff of office standing next to a wooden sign-post to right with an stone at its base inscribed: "xii / smith" and to left, at a lower level near a road or path (?) a woman near a cottage; in the distance a fortified building, trees and hills. 1829 hand-coloured lithograph.
