In connection with the construction of idrætshuset in 1912, brewer carl jacobsen bought this copy of the bronze statue of an archer by ernst moritz geyger originally cast in 1895 for the sanssouci park (potsdam), and in 1913 it was installed at østerbro stadium in copenhagen in axis against østerbrogade.
