Portrait traditionally identified as marie de' medici (1575-1642), wife of henry iv of france, but it could be a portrait of marie de rohan, duchess of chevreuse (1600-1679) identification proposed by user ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with two portraits of madame de chevreuse, one by sophie rochard (versailles mv 3386), and the other an engraving by charles david after ferdinand elle (see images below). Date: between 1610 and 1640. Dimensions: height: 65.4 cm (25.7 in); width: 49.9 cm (19.6 in). Medium: oil on board. Collection: Unidentified location.
