Stamp of switzerland; 1915; definitive stamp as overprinted stamp of the issue "walter tell"; drawing of walter tell standing behind crossbow; stamp of 1911 with black overprint of a new value in the left central part; old value threefold fessed; special characteristics of this stamp: stairs of the pedestal have different highs; the bowstring of the crossbow is behind the piston; thin characters with serifes at "helvetia"; top edge of the front metal bow is nearer to the upper line as at other issues; stamp postmarked stamp: michel no. 124 (= no. 111iii from 1911 with overprint); yvert et tellier: no. 145 (= no. 134 from 1911 with overprint); afa: no. 142 color: dark yellow ochre with black overprint watermark: switzerland no. 2 (multiple swiss crosses) nominal value: 1 on 2 (rappen, centimes) postage validity: from 26 january 1915 until 31 december 1932 stamp picture size (printed area): 18. 0 x 21. 0 mm.
