description:
hemispherical bowl resting on a well-marked circular foot. It is covered with a colorless glaze and painted with red, green and turquoise blue enamel. Interior: central medallion, character zhong 忠 (loyalty) inside a triple circle. Cavetto: three large floral sprigs separated by a small four-lobed flower. The lip is highlighted with a frieze of stylized plant elements. Exterior: under the lip register comprising four oval cartridges decorated with stylized birds among vegetation. Between the cartridges cloud patterns in windings and radiant patterns. Lower register: fish and ducks among stylized vegetation. The lower edge of the foot and the base are not covered.
