"wednesday before easter", illustration by george scharf, and ornaments designed by owen jones for the illustrated and illuminated book of common prayer first published in 1845. This 1863 edition contains coloured ornaments as opposed to the black and white design in the first edition. Illustrations: "judas receiving the money" after ang. Da fiesole; "the last supper" after raphael. 8vo (212 × 143 mm). Date: 1863.
