the sarmiento historical museum was located in the old house of the municipality of belgrano, built by the architect antonio buschiazzo and inaugurated on december 8, 1872. In it, president avellaneda and part of the national congress had met between the months of june and september 1880, during the confrontation between the executive branch and the buenos aires governor carlos tejedor.
