Horizontal rectangle. The ride side is shown. Above an entablature are openings in a gallery, seen from below. They are framed by pilasters. At right sits a man writing in a book, possibly saint matthew. At center is a decorative vase. At center left, is the upper part of a figure, possibly saint lawrence. At far left is a framed picture of the virgin and child. Seen in the background, a vaulted ceiling. Date: circa 1680. Dimensions: H x W: 41.4 × 19.6 cm (16 5/16 × 7 11/16 in.). Medium: black crayon, paper, pen and ink. Collection: Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
