Torpedo-explosionen i Krudtgraven, Frederik Winther, 1878

The explosion of a spar torpedo on september 30, 1878 in copenhagen killed a man and caused some damage to early danish torpedo boats. The incident was featured in the october 6 issue of the weekly illustreret tidende of copenhagen. The boat to the right of the explosion is dampchalup nr. 5. Date: 1878.
