description:
large dish with blue decoration in three concentric registers (foliage, lotus flowers) surrounding the central circular scene where two phoenixes confront each other using the arrangement of the "yin yang fish". The exterior wall of the dish bears a decoration of cloudy scrolls framed in fourteen lotus petals. The base is covered with a brown wash. The lip was wiped clean. Marine concretions remain.
