Lidded jar in the shape of a cricket cage, between 1675 and 1700

Covered pot on three legs, with straight wall and slightly convex lid. The upper part of the wall imitates the bars of the cage (in relief). The painting of the lid imitates a net tied with a cord; the knot of the cord forms the lid knob. Painted with stylized tendrils and flower sprays in underglaze blue and red and green enamel colors. Label line: anonymous, 1675 - 1700, porcelain with underglaze blue and enamel colors. Date: between 1675 and 1700. Place of creation: Japan.
