"view of the new anatomy in göttingen. " view from the east from the alleetor (today goetheallee) of the new neoclassical anatomy building, built in 1827-29; architects: university architect justus heinrich müller (1783-1825) and otto praël (1793-1862). The empty anatomical hall at the rear of the building had a flat dome. Today berliner strasse is located here; the building was destroyed in a bombing raid on april 7, 1945. Colored etching, drawn and etched from nature by fbesemann. Date: 1829/30.
