Large scale design filling the width of the textile with diagonally curving stems, curling leaves, and massive compound flower heads, with smaller flowers, thistles and leaves, in white with tan, and dark brown outlines on ochre ground. Wide plain selvedges with double warps. Date: designed 1889. Medium: cotton. Collection: Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
