Painting of hermann killisch-horn (1821–1886) in 1865 by theodor hosemann (1807–1875). The location of this painting is in pankow, today part of germany's capital berlin. Hermann killisch-horn is shown as 45 year old man walking inside the park of his estate. His manor is shown on the left, on the right his look-out which reminds of a castle's tower. On top of it waves the prussian flag. In the sky surrounding his head are shares/stock of companies while on the grass are issues of the newspaper he founded and owned, the berliner börsen-zeitung (1855–1945). The dress of the young girl also shows the title of this newspaper as she is symbolising the newspaper. In other drawings of the founder the newspaper was symbolised by a toddler wrapped in the newspaper. Date: 1865.
