Map of genoa published in 1704 by pieter mortier in noveau thatre de l'italia. Etching on copper dating back to the end of the 17th century. It is a copy with small modifications of a previous work from 1637 by alessandro baratta entitled the very famous and noble city of genoa with its new fortifications and of a subsequent re-edition from 1651 by dominique barriere. The engraving of this version is by bastian stoopendal and the publisher pieter mortier, amsterdam. Date: 1704. Dimensions: 445x1005mm.
