The photo shows the legion camp in piaseczna (volhynia), where the 2nd uhlan regiment of the polish legions was stationed. In the photo we see an uhlan during classes at the field stable. In the foreground there is a blanket with a halter on it. Next to it there is an austrian cavalry saber pattern. 1904 and the manlicher rifle wz. 95. A farm with horses is visible in the background. Date: 1916.
