Heyer copy daguerreotype, circa 1850s

Daguerreotype copy of a daguerreotype of conrad heyer (1749/53 - 1856). This daguerreotype was a copy made in the 19th century. The daguerreotype in the maine historical society has a different frame and less sharpness, indicating that it too, is a copy. Date: circa 1850s.
