Statue Robert de Flers Pont-l'Évêque

Pont-l'évêque, department of calvados, on a postcard from the beginning of the 20th century. The bronze statue of robert de flers made by philippe besnard. It was inaugurated on september 16, 1929 on place robert de flers. It was unbolted and melted down under the vichy regime, as part of the mobilization of non-ferrous metals. The pedestal remained empty. It was subsequently moved to the jean bureau garden, located behind the town hall. Date: début du 20e siècle.
