Advertisement designed by the artist änne koken and reproduced on a full page with the text "house wool / worsted spinning & dyeing / factory of all types of woolen knitting yarn / ludwig hampe / helmstedt". The multi-colored poster print is almost in din a3 format and the page numbered with the roman numeral xxi is part of the special issue number 3538, "136th volume" with the title cultural images from germany iv: hanover and border areas from april 20, 1911, which arose from the cooperation between the iillustrirten zeitung and the hannoverscher anzeiger. In the upper part of the picture you can see three older ladies knitting and chatting at the set table in the living room. Coffee or cocoa was enjoyed with the good, richly decorated porcelain, and there was pot cake to go with it. In the lower half of the page you can see two bundles of worsted yarn, the left one from the hauswolle brand, the right one from the sport-haus-wolle brand. In between you can see the trademark registered with the patent office, a stylized half-timbered house with the lettering haus wolle above the roof. The sheet, which was later scanned at 600dpi, is part of the newspaper purchased on december 8, 2014 for documentation purposes and was donated to the gottfried wilhelm leibniz library - lower saxony state library, for the attention of director georg ruppelt, on the morning of the following day. However, thanks to the friends of hanover, the scan was carried out later in the wikipedia office in hanover, after the rusting staples of the newspaper had been carefully removed so that the newspaper could be placed flat on the scanner. The digital copy was subsequently electronically contrasted for optical reasons and trimmed at the page edges. Date: 20 April 1911.
