Lithograph of the royal hanoverian ambassador, carl wilhelm georg, count of inn- and knyphausen, after a painting made by franz krüger in lütetsburg castle in 1852, which burned in 1893. According to legend, the print was made under the image of the royal lithographic institute in berlin. The image on paper measuring 64 x 48. 5 cm shows the royal ambassador in a three-quarter portrait as an elderly, beardless gentleman in a tailcoat. On his chest he wears the breast star of the grand cross of the order of guelph. The count is standing in a room and is leaning with his left hand on a table on which lie an open letter with a broken seal, as well as two books and a letter. In his right hand, zu innhausen and knyphausen is holding a folded sheet of paper which he has apparently previously taken out of the envelope. A top hat with white gloves is placed on a chair in front of the person portrayed. Date: circa 1852.
