Protestant propaganda engraving depicting the arrest of the stadtholder of friesland, gaspar de robles, in groningen on november 23-25, 1576, during the eighty years' war. A monk, vasles of zutphen (right), is also arrested. The original version included a text, in german, that celebrated the event and regretted that those arrested had not been hanged.
