Netherlands, Heenvliet, map of 1867

Map from 1867 of the former municipality of heenvliet (province south holland, netherlands). On january 1st, 1980 the municipality ceased to exist: the southern half of heenvliet melted together with the municipalities abbenbroek, geervliet, oudenhoorn and zuidland melted to form the new municipality bernisse. The northern half became a part of brielle. Heenvliet (the village) lies about 17 km southwest of rotterdam. Date: 1867.
