Karmapa, Kunto Zangpo and the Sixth Gyaltsab Norbu Zangpo

The 10th karmapa painted this thangka while he was in exile in lijiang and gyalthang (in yunnan, china), 1648-1671. It is a self-portrait. On the karmapa's right is kunto zangpo (the karmapa's faithful attendant for many years) and on the left is the sixth gyaltsab norbu zangpo. Chenrezig is depicted at the top. Date: 17th century.
