Statue of napoleon bonaparte on the place de la constitution (current place de verdun) in grenoble in 1868. Installed on august 17, 1868 in front of a considerable crowd, this statue was removed on september 4, 1870 and placed in the reserves of the grenoble museum until 1929, when it was transferred to laffrey, 30 km south of grenoble, and is still there.
