Drawing of gravestone walled in in viks castle, uppland. "in front of the altar there used to be a stone (see pl. I. ), with the donation of the academy of antiquities now walled in the vestibule of vik's castle; it shows the images of two children of the knight and lawman in södermanland arnvid göstafsson (sparre) to vik, killed by an arrow in 1317 on the night between december 10 and 11, when the dukes erik and valdemar, whose followers he was, was imprisoned, and his wife ramborg israelsdotter (three ducks). The stone is remarkably well carved with ornaments in the pointed arch style and the shield of spars at the children's feet, and one of the oldest in the country that is preserved with a coat of arms. ". Date: 1873.
