Justice punishing Injustice called Madame Adélaïde of France as Justice., Jean-Marc Nattier, 1737

The figure of justice in this painting was in turn considered the representation of madame de brionne, maiden name louise de rohan-guémené or even madame adélaïde, daughter of louis xv. Justice chastising injustice is however quite emblematic of the painter's talent and keen sense of staging. Object Type: painting. Date: 1737. Dimensions: height: 133 cm (52.3 in); width: 161 cm (63.3 in). Medium: oil on canvas. Collection: Private collection. Jean-Marc Nattier, La Justice châtiant l'Injustice
