Charlotte Dunker, 1820-е

Charlotte karlovna dunker (1800-1865), a protestant, daughter of a colonel in the swedish service; studied at the smolny institute, graduating with honors in 1818 and serving as a class teacher there. From 1828, she was governess to grand duchess olga nikolaevna; due to a confrontation with grand duchess maria nikolaevna, she was dismissed from her post in august 1836. Date: 1820-е.
