An historic group photograph is our last offering for this year and before the christmas season!
the countess markievicz was a prominent figure in irish political and social circles in the early years of the last century. She is reputed to have shot dead an unarmed dublin metropitan policeman in cold blood in 1916 and yet was renowned for her charity and concern for the poor. There are many people in the group but can we identify any of them?
we will not be posting from today, 22nd december until tuesday 2nd january 2018, as even the three marys have to take time off. We, the three mary's, carol, katherine and all at library towers would like to wish all our viewers a very merry christmas and a happy and prosperous new year. We look forward to another year of photo detective work and thank all the supporters, viewers and flickroonies for the information and most of all the entertainment during the year!
