Plate 31: in the foreground, two infantrymens, brandishing firearms, carrying rucksacks with a rolled up item on top, wearing long dark blue jackets with yellow piping, lighter blue epaulettes with yellow trim, tall blue caps with yellow piping, and adornments; the man to left, seen from behind, has a tin pot and loaf of bread (?) strapped to his rucksack and a small satchel attached to his belt, his firearm fitted with a bayonet; the man to right, seen from the front, has a sword hanging from his belt hand-coloured lithograph.
