Satire on the fear of french invasion, 1794-1805. (british political cartoon); represents the change of government from addington to pitt. Fox, with republican sympathies symbolized by the liberty cap, is excluded from pitt's government. The restoration of britannia's health is seen to be due to pitt's adherence to the king and the constitution. Napoleon menaces britannia, symbolizing the threat of invasion. Date: 20 May 1804.
