A father and son are out in the snow. The father is carrying a freshly-killed goose, and is maintaining his rifle; meanwhile, his son is pointing at something out of frame. This oil painting (15. 5"w x 19. 5"h) is in the style of frederick moladore spiegle, and spiegle did a series of similarly-themed images as part of a 1923/1924 advertising campaign for hercules gun powder; therefore, it is presumably by him. Date: 1924.
