Leaf from recueil julienne, a publication with reproductions of watteau's paintings and drawings made by contemporary graphic artists at the request of jean de julienne after watteau's death in 1721. The recueil consists of "figures de différents caractères" (reproductions of watteau's drawings), published 1726 and 1728, and "l'oeuvre. . Gravé d'après watteau" (reproductions of watteau's paintings and some drawings), published 1735. Another 16 leaves were added to the recueille in 1738 under the title "complément de l'oeuvre gravé".
