The last judgment by marcello venusti is a painting (oil tempera on panel, 188. 5 x 145 cm) located in naples at the capodimonte museum (inventory q 139), part of the farnese collection. The painting is one of the most important copies of michelangelo's famous fresco in the sistine chapel, as it was commissioned by cardinal alessandro farnese in 1549, and represents an exceptional document of how the fresco appeared before the council of trent imposed the covering of parts considered indecent.
