Józef Kwaciszewski, chorąży 3pp LP, Stanisław Janowski, styczeń-luty 1916

Józef kwaciszewski (born 1890, died 1958) before world war i, a member of the riflemen's association. After the outbreak of world war i, he joined the polish legions, the 3rd infantry regiment. After the oath crisis, he served in the polish state railways. In february 1918, he took part in the crossing of the front of the 2nd brigade near rarańcza. After the end of the war, he joined the polish army, where he achieved the rank of brigadier general (promotion on march 19, 1938). During the september campaign he was captured by the germans (september 5-6, 1939). He returned to poland in 1947. Then he worked in warsaw. He was awarded vm 5th class, kn, polonia restituta 4th class, kw 4x, gold cross of merit, commemorative medal for the war of 1918-1921, medal of the 10th anniversary of independence.
