“this building occupies the entire lot and was designed for commercial and residential purposes. It is made up of three floors and a basement. The facade is made up of three bays, where only the slightly overhanging middle one has openings with an inscription in the middle of the name of the initial owner and orderer of the work “j. A. Denis 1889”. The four windows which punctuate the symmetrical facade are crowned with pediments. The building is topped by a wood and copper cornice with dentil-shaped patterns which clearly distinguish the ensemble formed by the windows from the rest of the facade. » – ocpm. Qc. Ca
