Aspertini sketch-book (so-called london i): 44th opening left (1898,1123. 3(43) verso) and right-hand page (1898,1123. 3(44) recto) with hercules and antaeus (left-hand page); and marcus aurelius offering a sacrifice before the capitoline temple (right-hand page) c. 1535 pen and brown ink, brown wash (left page only) over black chalk, on vellum prepared with a green wash.
