An old woman rushing out of a rural cottage with a broom raised above her head, either to chase away a pair of barking dogs or two birds mating; against the left wall of the cottage and on a gate to right, two young women and their lovers engaged in intercourse; another old woman appearing from an upper window, waving a whip at cats mating on the roof. Hand-coloured etching and aquatint. Date: 1812-1827 (according to Schiff). Dimensions: Height: 209 mm (trimmed); Width: 170 mm (trimmed). Medium: paper. Collection: British Museum.
