Plate 6, the spirit of piety; to the left, two lambs burn on a sacrificial altar, abel kneels by his offering, his hands clasped in prayer; to right, cain, viewed from behind, burns sheafs of corn; above, god the father appears on a cloud, surrounded by cherubs, he accepts abel's offering by stretching out his right hand, he decline's cain's with his left engraving.
