Francois van bredehoff (1672-1733) flanked by his servant tabo jansz. He points to his house, 'de gerechtigheid' on the beemsterringvaart in oosthuizen (diagonally opposite the grote kerk), which is painted in the background on the right. He was chief sheriff in hoorn and became lord of oosthuizen (etersheim, hobrede, kwadijk, schardam) through purchase in 1686. Painted in 1727 by nicolaas verkolje. Via westfries museum. Date: 1727.
