The marshall gallery at the main library at the university of illinois at urbana–champaign. The marshall gallery, which is the entrance lobby for the main (east) doors, is traditionally empty. However, when the library was closed in 2020-2021 during the covid-19 pandemic, the space was fitted with lockers so patrons could pick up library materials without venturing more than a few feet into the library.
